When it comes to figuring out the best combination of travel accessories for people who are frequently on the move, each set might turn out to be different for different people because let’s just accept, no two travellers are alike. If you could magically peer into the bags of ten travellers around you in a holiday destination, you’d be surprised at what each of them would carry. Some of the stuff might seem amusing to others but they might be vital to those using them. A lot also depends on the priorities of people. For some, health might be of utmost importance while some others might have capturing memories on tape on the top of their own list. The point is travellers cannot survive without their accessories. Here’s a list of some of the travel accessories that some people might find amusing, but others might not.

TSA Locks – 9/11 was unfortunate. It also made Airport Security all over international airports a very lengthy process. With so many people going through the check gates every minute, security staff all over have lost the sense of respect for people’s privacy as they insist on breaking open the locks in all kinds of luggage. In their enthusiasm for security, they tend to break the locks. To prevent that, the best option is to use TSA locks which use a combo of numbers to open and shut.

Comfortable Travel Pillow – Whoever has had to take a long international flight on economy class will know the value of a comfortable travel pillow. Some airlines just do not understand the necessity of a simple pillow on a flight. To avoid such nuisances, always carry a small but comfortable travel pillow if you’re planning on taking a long flight.

Extra USB Drives – a lot of people use digital cameras during their travels but not all of them like the idea of lugging around a laptop with them. With the abundance of cyber cafes all around the world, it’s easy to access a computer. But storing your pictures and videos is a whole different ball game. Instead of having to burn DVD’s to store your files, use a couple of good pen drives with adequate capacity.

Portable Multipurpose Adapter – If you open a random traveler’s bag (just imagine it, don’t actually do it), you’ll be surprised to see the number of electronic devices like a digital camera, an mp3 player, electric razor, etc. in it. All of these devices need to be charged and carrying different chargers for them can be quite a drag. Instead, go for a portable multipurpose charger that is compatible with all those devices. You’ll save a lot of space and not have to worry about your batteries running out as well.

These are just a few random travel accessories that one might need. Five other people might suggest ten other devices. The point is, stick to your own needs and set up your travel list accordingly.

I always keep a bag packed ready to take off for some fun and I like to take the best travel accessories don’t you? Next I’m going to learn Spanish ready for my next sunshine holiday.
