I don’t know why there are so many people upset with this bail out plan. We have all been there haven’t we? You know, paying one credit card off with the other. I do it all the time. It works real swell. As long as I have income I have no problems.

Sing these next words to the tune of “leg bone connected to the thigh bone” and you will see how masterful his plan is. Ready? Okay here goes, the Visa Card pays off the MasterCard, the MasterCard pays off the American Express, the American Express pays off the Visa Card. Perfect circle. And in the mean time I keep getting to buy stuff. New TV, dinner with the wife, really cool watch, new cell phone and so many shoes, Imelda Marcos is jealous.

When I told my financial planner what I was doing he was so thrilled he tackled me and took all my credit cards away from me. Not sure why he was upset. I told him it was nothing different than what President Obama was planning on, borrow money and spend it in order to save the economy. I also let him know that without my cards I would go broke very fast. There was no way that I could pay all those bills at once. I had to keep borrowing to keep up on the payments.

My financial planner looked at me like one of my eyeballs was being eaten by maggots. “What in the hell are you talking about, you can never borrow your way out of debt. Some day you will have to pay these bills!” This sounds funny to me. After all I have been hearing from Washington D.C., paying off my bills doesn’t make any sense. Congress, the Senate and the White House have all said that we need to borrow the government a couple of TRILLION dollars in order to keep people spending money. I let my planner know that I have listened to smarter people than him. My Government would never lead me wrong. I mean I got a free HDTV converter box free from my government. My planner politely told me that he was not my planner anymore.

I don’t get it. I have looked at some of what the stimulus bill has in store for our nation. It makes sense to me. Come on, I think that the government should have $500 million for new furniture. I got a bitchin new lazy boy the other day and put it on a card. If I can, why can’t the government?

Just thought I would put a common mans perspective on this whole stimulus thing. Watching CNN or MSNBS just gets confusing with all those experts telling me what I already know. Let Obama have his fun, it is not every day you get to be King, oops, I mean President. We and our kids kids can cough up 30 to 40% of our salaries to our government so the President spend our way out of recession. Lighten up people…… Like I said, I do it all the time.
