By using Google channels webmasters can enhance their AdSense reporting with additional tracking.  This is very beneficial because it will allow you to track:
1.Your ad’s performance on your various domains.
2.The difference in revenue each domain makes.
3.The size of ads that work best for you.
4.What ad placements are most profitable.

In order to properly track these things you will need to:
1.Assign each group of web pages a specific channel.
2.Be certain to define what size and type of ad is being used within the channel.
3.Create channels based upon people’s languages so that you will see which users are making you more money.
4.Specify the position of the ad that is being tracked.
5.Have the channel tell you what URL the ad is on.
6.Make sure that you have channels that tell you which color palette works best.
7.Keep track of the ad’s size.

Now that you know what types of channels to create, you also need to know how to name them.  While you can name them anything you wan, you should name them so that you know what you are tracking.  For instance, 300x200topleft means that you are tracking ads that are 300×200 and located in the top left corner of your web pages.  This is important because Google will send you revenue reports that will list your top channels.  Herein you will be able to tell what channels are doing best so that you can make any necessary changes.  Of course, it is important to read the reports and make these changes so that you can increase your profits.

If you follow these tips for creating and naming channels you will be able to make some good money off of AdSense.  While this will still take some experimentation, Google channels will actually make this easier for you.
