My answer:  If the ratings are high, we’ll take as much as the producers want to give us. The CSI brand is still strong and we have choices. I personally enjoy CSI:Miami. I don’t watch the other shows. David Caruso gives me my CSI fix as Horatio Caine and that’s all I need. Some people may need a more urban feel and watch CSI:NY. Gary Sinese does a good job as Mac Taylor. For those loyal to the original, I’m sure Laurence Fishburne does not disappoint.

The crime/law enforcement genre is very popular; challenged only by reality television shows and medical dramas. The CSI brand is hear to stay. Don’t fight it. Pick a show or two or three and enjoy.
