The Dakota were hunters of game and foragers of berries, while the Inuit primarily hunted sea animals and searched for seaweed.
The Dakota were a nomadic people and moved based on where the largest buffalo heard was. The Dakota primarily ate many meats and game meats, especially buffalo. Their diet did not consist of only meat, however.
