In a recent study, 90% of rain in the US contains measureable amounts of carcinogens due to the high levels of gasoline emissions present in the atmosphere. The consequence of these carcinogens rain down on our lands is increased toxicity in drinking water, farmer’s crops, and increased erosion on buildings and homes throughout the US.

Another projected side effect of this unsettling problem is increased cancer rates. Every drop of carcinogenic toxins that enter your body through the consumption of food and drinking water increase your chances of developing a terminal cancer.

The only solution to this problem is to reduce our carcinogen emissions by cracking down on industrial pollution and making a push for cleaner fuels and public transportation. The positive side effect to this problem will be reduced transportation and energy costs due to a drop in demand, as well as a cleaner, brighter future for our children and mother earth.
