Barbara Cubin Retires
With the retirement of six term Congresswoman Barbara Cubin(R), Wyoming’s Congressional seat is up for grabs and Cynthia Lummis has stepped in for the Republican Party.
Lummis has based her campaign on the strong footing of the energy crisis, pushing for offshore drilling, opening up ANWR, and utilizing clean coal technology with the implementation of wind and solar alternative energy sources.
In a sparsely populated state with no real transportation options, except for cars, energy consumption is on the minds of all Wyoming voters.
