Usana are one of the most respected companies in the mlm industry and have been marketing excellent products for the last 17 years.
Are you wondering if Usana is a scam?
The honest answer to this question is no. Their products are given raving reviews by users, some of whom are top athletes. Many of these new fad companies that pop up on a seemingly weekly basis with the next magic pill or juice, soon fizzle out into oblivion very quickly. This is not the case with Usana.
Customers and distributors will tell you that they are very happy with Usana even if they are not necessarily making a large income. It’s not surprising though, given that 45 cents of every dollar is going back into the compensation plan. Using the binary system, a lot of money can be made by those who are willing to put in the work required.
There are some people who will twist the truth of a binary system slightly in order to gain new recruits. This is due to the spillover potential being marketed as the main reason to get people to join sooner, rather than later, some new to MLM can be persuaded to join for this sole reason. It’s a true fact of binaries but you should be made aware that you can only qualify if you have a balanced organisation. You won’t earn money for doing nothing in a binary system.
As far as FTC rules go, Usana are in full compliance, they are also well known for their donations to charity organisations and have received many awards. I’d consider them to be a benchmark for other companies to aim for.
Many people have come to distrust the network marketing industry over the years, mostly due to previous scams like Ponzi schemes and Pyramids. Often all companies are labelled as scams, which is not the case. MLM still offers the potential to build a lucrative business, working from your own home and when you choose to. For folks that may not have had much previous experience this business model still offers vast potential.
Unfortunately there are still companies around to this day that could be labelled as a scam, and for good reasons, as network marketers it’s important that we are getting the message out there about our industry and showing people the true benefits of it, and how to do it legitimately.
It’s safe to say the Usana is definitely not a scam when you take into consideration their products and testimonies from associates, not to mention their track record. If you are considering joining Usana then you would be making a wise decision in my opinion. It’s always remembering though that the nutrition market is already saturated with all kinds of products making every claim under the sun, and there are a lot of products out there that are more geared to getting customers money, rather than providing any real benefits. So you will need to come up with a marketing plan that will efficiently cut through the ‘noise’
