TVI Express are based in London, UK (apparently).
They started up in January 2009 and what drew me to take a look at this opportunity was the incredible income claims being made by distributors. I checked out all their information on the official website but after a great deal of time looking through their material there was still one question unanswered, ‘What’s the actual product?’ Anytime this happens alarm bells go off in my head and I find myself asking ‘Is this a Ponzi scheme?’.
After some further research I was still none the wiser, I even spoke to some TVI reps and they didn’t seem to have any definite answers other than you are awarded a 6 night hotel voucher when you pay your $250 to join up
I have doubt in my mind about the authenticity of TVI as there does not seem to be any actual products that are being sold
So how do you get paid with TVI Express?
A distributor will make their money from getting others to sign up and pay the $250. You first have to make your way through their rotating matrix arrangement. You will begin by ‘cycling’ through the travel board, once the matrix fills up you will be paid $500. Your next goal is then to earn a reward payment of $10,000. You do this on the next level which is the “Express Board”. Again you cycle your way to the highest level of the matrix and then the process is repeated. $250 will get you into the scheme and you won’t have to make any further payments. In order to qualify for the bonus payment you need to sponsor just 2 people.
Why is it possible to get such large rewards from sponsoring only 2 people? Because right now thousands of people are signing up in the hope of riches and paying their $250 fee and assuming that this keeps happening the matrix ‘cycling’ can continue. Members can repeat this as many times as they like for the time they stay in the program (so TVI says).
It’s inevitable that this type of scheme will boom & bust. Because there is no actual product being sold then once there are no new members coming in the cycle will stop and no one gets ‘paid’. Normally when an MLM company gets to the point of saturation there is still money being made, as distributors are selling an actual product.
Is this a modern day Ponzi?
I rate a network marketing company by its products, I look for a quality product that provides pure value to its end user. I also ask the question ‘would the product stand up on its own?’. The company TVI fails on all counts for me.
Would you be wise to invest into TVI?
You would not be wrong for thinking that the matrix pay plan looked lucrative. But I wouldn’t recommend trying to recruit anyone that trusts you or sees you as an expert. Beware, I have read in many different places online that payments are not guaranteed to be in cash, but rather in the form of a voucher that will get you a good deal on a holiday or some travel deal.
